About UsOnce upon a time, in a little studio space in Kwun Tong, we started sewing. . .The company name - BEZ & OHO - actually came from the account of two artsy guys in Exodus 31, named Bezalel and Oholiab. . . It said they were filled with creative abilities to work in all forms of art and craftsmanship and they were given the wisdom to teach others as well. We liked the idea of that - to share what skills and talents we've been given and multiply them along the way! The idea was to specialize in using locally available materials to create original, beautiful, handcrafted treasures. But we didn't want to just go along with the crowds. . . . We wanted to ALSO create a safe and meaningful work environment for people right here in the local community. We wanted to head a new direction, choose the path less travelled by. . . So the label H.A.N.D. was born - Heading A New Direction. It simply summed up what we were about. . . Making beautiful things by hand while incorporating new, creative ideas in recycling and resourcing while helping people to head in a new direction as well! We value the time and energy spent on these beautiful creations that make fantastic gifts and are fun to use! (Get ready for the compliments!) We're pleased to be offering top quality products while developing ethical and, in some cases, life-changing employment. . . right here in Hong Kong. Oh yes!
